Gift Shop news!
The updated Missals should be arriving
mid-month. We have ordered only a dozen and six of them are already reserved
for parishioners. If you want one don't hesitate to come into The
Gift Shop and sign-up for one today. They are $33 and have a
black leatherette cover. We have a new supply of small, hard cover
journals for your daily reflections and musings. Priced reasonably at only
$1.50, they make nice gifts for teenagers, as well as adults of all ages.
Inexpensive bookmarks, lapel pins and prayer cards to buy for yourself, a loved one or someone who'd like to receive some
mail are in stock. We still have a good selection of PBOC hats...perfect
for the golf course or this beautiful weather.
Please come in after any Mass or
on Wednesdays from 9:15-10AM...even if it's just to browse.
In today’s first reading, we hear Samuel respond eagerly,
“Here I am!” each time the Lord calls him.
May we, too, be listening for the call of God in our lives and be ready
to say like the psalmist, “Here am I, Lord; I come to do your will.” (See 1
Samuel 3:4; Psalm 40)
Special Collection: The Diocese of Charleston’s Annual Collection for Latin America
will be taken up on January 21-22.
Please be generous.
