PBOC is Going Green!

Please join us in our efforts to make a difference

in our Parish community:

We have started recycling with Fisher Recycling, parishioners Kira & Steve Roff.  All parish facilities now have recycling containers and accept the following materials:  cardboard, paper, plastic, glass, magazines, aluminum and tin.  Please look for the blue or green bins, and help us recycle by placing these materials in the recycling containers.  ALL items can be commingled in one easy container!!

CALLING Parishioners to join our “Green Team”:  Tuesday, June 8 at 6 PM – “Green Team Meeting & Recycling Info. Session”.  Do you want to learn more about recycling and going green efforts for yourself, your home, your community or

business?  Those who have experience in this area can attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, June 8 at 6:00 PM in the Parish Life Center.  Kira Roff will be heading up our “Green Team” and organizing efforts to coordinate all different ways for PBOC to “reduce, reuse & recycle”.

They do appreciate your support.  Our Knights of Columbus continues to mail these packages. As long as we receive your and the Knights of Columbus support, our military will continue to receive these care packages. Again, thank you.  As always your prayers are requested for our military and their safe return.  – John Glinka

StewardshipGraphicToday’s psalm reminds us that we have been crowned with glory and honor and given rule over the works of God’s hands.  But we must be good stewards, for the Lord will surely hold us accountable for the use of those gifts!
