StewardshipGraphicPaul and Barnabas encountered both violent rejection and joyful acceptance of the message that they preached.  We, too, may meet with mixed reactions when we use our gifts in the service of God.  But, the Gospel assures us, the reward for those who follow faithfully is eternal life.

Women's Club Cookbook - Kathy Knittel and Bernice Rucker have begun working on a Cookbook from our Women's Club. They are looking forward to working with the ladies to publish a Cookbook of Appetizers and Desserts by September in time for the new year and the Craft Fair. They will start collecting recipes that are tried and true in April. So begin looking through your recipes, add interesting side stories, and join in the fun.  Anyone interested in helping with this future fundraiser please call Kathy 235-6939 or Bernice 237-5614.

The new Women’s Club Directories have arrived. Menu choices will be more detailed at the May meeting.

MC900227296[1]This year the JOY School Lunch Program will be provided by the Women's Club the week of June 14 to18. This project has always been very rewarding to all who have helped out in the past. Seeing the excitement in the children's faces, their gratefulness, and curiosity to see what's for lunch makes every second of this project worthwhile. There will be a volunteer signup sheet at the May 6 general meeting. Menu suggestions are provided so it becomes a rather easy task. It also helps to have two or more women per day, depending on the menu. A coordinator for this project is needed. If you would like to take on this easy project let Marcia Boyer or Joan Baker know as soon as possible. The coordinator does not have to be available every day. Menus and guidance will be given to those who are interested or new to the club and would like to be involved in this.

Ladies, please remember to bring canned goods to our next General Meeting on May 6th at 11 AM in the PLC.
