We have a supply of donated quilting fabric available to any quilter, or anyone interested in learning to quilt. If you would be interested in helping with this ministry of gratitude to our servicemen and women, please join us in Founders Hall on Monday, June 15 from 10:00 AM -12:00 PM. THE KNIGHTS SUNDAY NEWS
READ ALL ABOUT IT !!!!!
Do you know what
the four corners of our K of C emblem stand for? They represent The Principals
of the Order.
They are as follows: Charity, Unity, Fraternity, Patriotism.
This week we will look at what charity means to the K of C.
Charity is the first principal of the Order. Knights are followers of Christ. As St. James reminds us, faith without works is dead. Therefore, as Knights, we are committed to charity by using our time and talents to ease the pain of those less fortunate.
An example of Charity is giving two hours of your time for the upcoming Operation Hope solicitations.
(To be continued next week.)
Special event Fathers Day Eve… Wine Tasting and Steak (or chicken) Dinner. Tickets are available, $20.00 per person at the Church office. The price of your ticket also includes a chance to win a 26-inch flat-screen TV!
